Our pressure therapy STARVAC machine is manufactured in France, and brought directly to La Maison. Exported to more than 40 countries around the world, it is used in the best aesthetic centers in Europe. Our staff training was done in Normandy Paris.
The pressotherapy is a system of controlled compression, which works with pumps to inflate. The device has five separate cameras, which are placed around the extremities. These focus on moving the venous and lymphatic flow, starting at the ankles and moving to the thighs. Designed to increase blood circulation and lymphatic flow, pressotherapy improves the clearance of extracellular fluid, reduces swelling, inflammation and edema, relieves fatigue in the legs and improves oxygen flow throughout the body. A trained technician turns on each chamber, which fills with air and sends light pressure to each extremity. The pressure simulates a deep massage that uses enough pressure to reach below the surface of the skin. Each pressotherapy session usually lasts about 30 minutes and it is recommended that it be repeated every week for a period of eight weeks.
The pressotherapy may be combined with seaweed to detoxify, reaffirm, tone, improve circulation and increase lymphatic drainage. It is a great alternative to liposuction, and can be associated with vacum mobilization treatments with exceptional results.
